Epicness help?
This is the only part of sparta remixes that gives me the most trouble. Whenever I attempt this particular part of the remix, it always sounds off..If anyone could provide the original "OMG TEH EPICNESS" pattern and tips.

Tips for getting started?
Hello fellow spartans, I have little experience with sony vegas, though not completely lost, I'm aware of the basic techniques and familiar with the main original chorus of the remix, however my primary issue is "timing" usually when I begin a remix, I use the original base. The clips I use are either too long or the clips are too fast and they do not match with the base. Not even remotely. I have managed to create a full remix however, the timing was still off to a certain degree, any help would be much appreciated! Thanks community.
EDIT: Any cool patterns or ideas would be welcome too! Also can someone explain what the "*" means during a pattern? I've seen it on practically every custom pattern I've come across.
